Impact Cluster

Moroccan-Dutch cooperation at the service of Moroccan professionals

To structurally adapt Research, Development, and Innovation to the needs of agricultural sector actors, it was essential to establish an "Impact Cluster". This initiative is an effective and efficient approach to addressing the challenges faced by Moroccan agricultural businesses and stimulating private sector development through cooperation with Dutch horticultural expertise.

The Impact Cluster is an approach that will enhance the private sector's ability to organize autonomously in partnership with its immediate institutional environment, with a perspective of sustainable and participatory agricultural development.

As the initiator of this cluster, the Agadir Horticultural Complex (AHC) serves as the "leading core", playing a pivotal role in steering and cultivating this approach between national and Dutch partners:

- Moroccan Cluster: represented by regional producers and their institutional environment, agricultural input companies, and agro-technology businesses.

- Dutch Cluster: represented by research and training institutions, producers, and agro-technology leaders.

Funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Impact Cluster aims to implement a short and medium-term action plan translated into research projects, continuous training, and demonstrations connected to the structures of the AHC.
